Connor Leppink was named Director of Women’s Basketball Operations in April 2021.

Leppink joined the Eagles after stops at the WNBA, the University of Michigan and most recently Miami (OH) University.

"Connor has made an instant impact in his role as our director of basketball operations," head coach Semeka Randall Lay said. "He is a relentless worker and his knowledge and passion for our program has been extremely infectious. He is organized and very conscientious at how he approaches daily tasks. He also has the ability to connect with people, and our staff is excited to have him on board."

Leppink joined the RedHawks in June 2018 as the director of women’s basketball video operations before taking over as the director of operations for the 2019-20 season.

In 2019-20, the RedHawks finished with an 11-20 overall record and a 4-14 mark against MAC opponents. Their most notable win of the season came on Dec. 7 when they defeated Pittsburgh, 80-71. During the 2018-19 season, the RedHawks had their best start in program history – 7-1 and went on to finish the season 23-9, falling in the MAC semifinals 74-48 to No. 2 Ohio.

Prior to joining the RedHawks, Leppink served as a basketball operations and video coordinator intern for the Seattle Storm of the WNBA from May to September 2017. In this role he coordinated opponent practices and shootarounds, assisted with the preparation of scouting reports and handled all of the team's equipment needs. He was also responsible for all video operations and analytics.

While receiving his master’s, Leppink served as the graduate video manager for the University of Michigan women's basketball team from September 2016 to December 2017. While with the Wolverines, he worked closely with the video coordinator, maintaining opponent’s video library for scouting purposes, prepared video edits and was involved in on-court drills and skill work. In 2016-17, the Wolverines captured the WNIT title defeating Georgia Tech, 89-79, in triple overtime.

The Michigan native earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management from Dordt College in May of 2016. While at Dordt, he was a member of the baseball team and earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors in 2015 and 2016. He later earned his master’s degree in sports management from the University of Michigan in December of 2017.
