Pam Brown

Brown is in her second season with the Lady Eagles and came to Winthrop after spending two years at the University of Miami (FL) as the Coordinator of Basketball Operations for the women’s basketball team. Brown moved to a career in coaching after a collegiate career at Charlotte and a year of professional basketball in Holland.
“Pam comes to us after a stellar career at Charlotte, professional basketball in Europe, and two years of experience on the women’s basketball staff at Miami (FL),” said Childers, who is set to coach his sixth season at Winthrop. “Pam stood out in the interview process as a young person with a great passion and desire to contribute to the continued climb of our program here at Winthrop to the championship level. We are delighted to have Pam join us here at Winthrop.”
Brown’s daily duties will consist of coaching post players, team travel plans, coordinate equipment handling, opponent scouting, individual summer camps development, and recruiting.
