Rogers joins the Lady Eagle staff after spending the last two seasons at Clemson University as a graduate assistant, where she worked directly with the recruiting coordinator and many other aspects of the program.

"I am elated at the opportunity to be a part of Coach Stollings staff and join the Lady Eagle family,” said Rogers, who graduated from Washington College in Chestertown, MD in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. “I look forward to working with Coach Stollings, the players, and the entire Winthrop University family to develop the best student-athletes possible. Coach Stollings is one of the best educators in the game and I am totally committed to helping build a program with elite student-athletes that will compete annually for a Big South Championship."

Prior to Clemson, Rogers was a women’s basketball coaches intern for the Washington Mystics of the WNBA where she assisted in individual workouts, planning of practices, keeping statistics, scouting opponents, game film breakdown, administrative tasks and many other coaching aspects.

Rogers’ playing experience began in 2005 at St. Mary’s College of Maryland and continued at Washington College after transferring prior to her sophomore season. She was a three-year captain for Washington College.

"Coach Rogers is a first-rate addition to our program,” said Stollings. “Her ACC experience at Clemson University, knowledge of the game, passion and enthusiasm will be key assets in recruiting and developing our Lady Eagles. I am thrilled she is joining our Winthrop family."

Rogers’ experience expands into the summer camp counselor for Archbishop Spalding High School (2002-2007), St. Mary’s College of Maryland (2005), the United States Naval Academy (2006, 2007), Tim Legler Basketball Camp (2010) and Lady Tiger Basketball Camp (2010).

Rogers becomes the second member of the women’s basketball coaching staff under Stollings, who took over the Lady Eagle program this past April.
