* Played high school basketball at nearby Nation Ford H.S. in Fort Mill, SC
* Was a four-year letter winner in basketball and ranks first in games played at Nation Ford with 63
* Ranks sixth on the Nation Ford H.S. scoring list with 461 points
* Shot 75 percent from the free throw line and 34 percent from the floor as a senior
* Also lettered three years in volleyball and one year in soccer
* Earned 2009 All-Region 3-AAAA honors
* Received the Falcon Award in 2008 and 2009 and the Team Before Self Award in 2010
* Is majoring in exercise science and plans to attend graduate school to pursue a doctorate in physical therapy
