Freshman Highlights...

• Led team with a .361 batting average and was fifth

in the Big South

• Voted 2006 Big South Freshman of the Year

• Named to First Team All-Big South

• Set freshman records for hits, runs and RBI and tied the freshman record for home runs in a season

• Started all 58 games she played and committed just two errors (.987 fielding percentage)

• Had a personal and team-best 14-game hitting streak

• Recorded first collegiate hit on Feb. 18, 2006 vs. Marshall and hit first collegiate home run on Feb. 18, 2006 vs. Appalachian State

• Led the team with 21 mult-hit games
