Brett Ferguson, from Wheaton, Illinois, is in his second season with the men's basketball program and his first as the team's video coordinator. Ferguson spent last season as a men's basketball graduate assistant.

Ferguson is a 2011 graduate of Michigan State University where he earned a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies of Social Sciences. During his time at Michigan State, Ferguson was a student manager for the men's basketball team where he was part of back-to-back regular season Big Ten Championships and Final Four appearances.

Following his time at Michigan State as a student manager, Ferguson moved on to the Big Ten office in Park Ridge, IL. He served as an intern for the video department as he worked with football and basketball officials.

Ferguson is seeking in master's degree in sports fitness and administration at Winthrop. The son of Harry III and Barbara Ferguson, Brett is the middle of three children with an older brother, Harry IV and a younger brother named Jarrett.
