2011: Redshirted

2010: Posted a .235 average (16-for-68) at the plate as a freshman in 42 games played with 33 starts. Posted one home run on the season and four RBI to go with nine runs scored and 12 walks. Had a .279 slugging percentage and .373 on-base percentage. Recorded a season-high three hits against Wagner on Feb. 28 and had a one-RBI performance on four separate occasions, one of which came in his first collegiate start on Feb. 20 against George Mason. Hit his first career homer on Mar. 12 in a 5-4 win over Toledo. Accumulated two multi-hit games and ended the season with a four-game hitting streak. Went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate on Feb. 28 against Wagner and later added a 2-for-2 performance against Canisius. Behind the plate, threw at 19 runners who attempted to steal a base.

High School: Was the starting catcher for the Iona Prep Gaels, who won five consecutive division titles in the Catholic High School Athletic Association. He was rated the 19th best player in the state of New York by Perfect Game. Earned numerous honors at Iona Prep including CHSAA All-State, NY City All-League and Defensive Player of the Year.

Personal: Born on May 2, 1991. Is the son of Thomas and Susan Donovan. Majoring in Criminology.
