Biography

Senior (2019):
- Played in and started all 57 games, primarily playing first base for the Eagles
- Big South All-Tournament Team Selection
- Hit .324 for the season, hitting 6 home runs and driving in a team-best 50 runs
- Led Winthrop with a .502 slugging percentage and 107 total bases
- Stole 23 bases, tied for the team lead
- Logged 17 multi-hit games in his senior campaign, including five contests of three hits or more
- Went 4-5 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored at Furman 4/2

Junior (2018): 
- Played in 35 games, including 29 starts
- Posted a .277 batting average, hitting one home run and driving in 16
- Had a career day against Longwood on 3/24, going a perfect 5-5 at the plate including a double and a triple, driving in five runs and scoring three of his own. 

Sophomore Year (2017):
- English made 56 appearances on the season at DH and 1B
- He had four three hit games. 
- He finished third in doubles with 13
- Fifth in slugging percentage with .380
- Fourth on the team in hits with 60
- Fourth in RBI with 27
