Biography

High School:
•  Earned All-Region and All-State honors as a senior
•  Named MVP at Lugoff-Elgin High School in 2012 
•  Was rated as the second-best catcher in the state of South Carolina by Diamond Prospect
•   Was also awarded the 2010 Palmetto Games Silver Slugger Award and was the starting catcher for the 2010 Class AAA State Championship team at Lugoff-Elgin
•  Posted solid numbers at the plate as he batted .420 in 2010, .340 in 2011, and .380 in 2012 .
•  Was ranked in the top 1,000 nationally by Perfect Game USA after participating in the 2011 South Atlantic Border Battle, and the 2010 and 2011 Palmetto Games
