Philip Ramsay joins Winthrop Baseball as the Director of Program Development after more than a decade building revenue, partnerships, and teams across sports, live events, and entertainment.
In addition to his role at Winthrop, Ramsay currently serves as Director of Business Development at Crescent Event Productions in Charlotte, N.C., where he built the company’s hospitality business development division in addition to partnering with corporations to sell audiovisual services nationwide.
Prior to that, Ramsay spent four years as Program Manager at Infinite Athlete, a sports technology company, where he managed a 25-person team that supported live NFL, Pac-12 and Chelsea broadcasts.
Ramsay also served as Licensing Representative and Head of Player Program for the Alliance of American Football, and began his career in outside sales at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, consistently ranking among the venue’s top sales representatives.
Ramsay earned his bachelor’s degree in theatre from Asbury University. He grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, playing baseball his entire life. He’s passionate about the sport and is excited to bring his expertise to Winthrop Baseball.
