Gueldner joins the Eagles after serving as the director of baseball operations with Big South rival USC Upstate last season. He previously had interned with the Spartans during the 2023-24 off-season as well as helping with operations at Cleveland S. Harley Park. Prior to Upstate, he interned with the Carolinas Metro Reds, an MLB Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) program based in Charlotte, N.C. With the Carolinas Metro Reds, he assisted with coordinating team camps and player development while gaining experience in social media and content creation.

Serving at both the interscholastic and travel baseball levels, Gueldner has multiple seasons of coaching experience, working with both Showcase Baseball Academy (Charlotte, N.C.) and Nation Ford High School (Fort Mill, S.C.). With Showcase Baseball Academy, he spent two seasons as an assistant coach before being promoted to head coach of the SBA Nationals. With Nation Ford, he worked primarily with the Falcons' infielders while handling bench coach duties on game days.
