Out of respect for the safety of our students and concerns related to gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Winthrop Spirit Squad will be put on pause for the 2020-21 athletics year. For this reason, there will be no squad try-outs for the upcoming year in athletics.
The energy and spirit that the Winthrop Spirit Squad brings to our events will be greatly missed this year. We look forward to the opportunity to host try-outs for the 2021-22 year in athletics and resume Spirit Squad activities for the Winthrop Athletics community to enjoy.
