- In her senior year in 2022-23, she won the hammer throw with a toss of 54.64m at the Big South Outdoor Championships, becoming the first women's hammer champion at Winthrop since Marthaline Cooper in 2016
- Nunez-Gomez won the event in impressive fashion, finishing nearly five meters further than the second place finisher
- Nunez-Gomez is now a three-time all-conference performer
- In her graduate year in 2023-24, she won the women's weight throw with a hurl of 17.00m at the VMI Invitational
- At the Florida Last Chance Meet, she won the women's weight throw with a heave of 16.75m
