Biography
Carlie Skelton has played in 278 sets as an Eagle and has racked up 1,051 career digs after just three seasons. In 2018 against The University of North Florida, Skelton recorded a new career high in digs with 31 in a five set match.
She was named to the Big South All-Academic teams in 2016 and 2017. She was also third in the top ten list for dig in the Big South Conference in 2016.
In high school, she was a four-time All-Region selection in the South Carolina Independent Schools Association. Skelton was named the Regional Player of the Year in 2013 and 2014. In 2014, her team won the lower-state title and was state runner-up. She played club volleyball for Grand Strand Juniors and was an AAU Junior National All-Star Team selection in 2014.
Carlie is the daughter of Kim and Charlie Skelton and is majoring in Exercise Science.
