Biography
Junior Career Highlights:
Top 250 in the world for Juniors, ended the year ranked No. 2 in South Africa. Travelled East, West, and Central Africa playing for South Africa. Came 2nd in the South African national tournament, and also competed in the Nike Junior Tour when he was 12 and 14. Won 3 ITF's in doubles and made 4 finals.
Academic Highlights:
2012 ITA Scholar Athlete and National Society of Collegiate Scholars member. Made the Dean's List in Fall 2011, 2012, and Spring 2012. Cumulative GPA of 3.74. Currently studying Business with a focus on Economics for his major.
Winthrop Highlights:
Received Big South Freshman of the week honor last season. UGA Southern Intercollegiate Championship Doubles Finalist fall of freshman year. Won the Winthrop fall invitational for 2011 and 2012 in singles. Won both his singles and doubles flight at this fall's Charlotte 49ers invitational. During his freshman year, he played positions 2-4 in singles and 1 and 2 in doubles.
Interesting Facts:
Has the first letters of his moms, dads, and sisters names tattooed on his arm. Enjoys fishing, surfing, riding motorcycles and playing ping-pong.
