•  Had a career-high five RBI and three hits against Stony Brook on March 13
•   In his first career game as an Eagle he registered one RBI and drew a season-high three walks at San Diego State on February 18

•  Received a medical redshirt season as a freshman after suffering a back injury

•  Posted a record of 6-1 with a 2.27 ERA and 44 strikeouts in 2008
•  Was named Blessed Trinity High School's Pitcher of the Year in 2008
•  Hit .367 as a senior with four home runs and 20 RBI
•  Was a member of the 2006 Class AAA state title team
