- Mia Ruffalo made an early save on Marianna Rapani at 7:55 as Mercer generated several chances through 19:54 without scoring.
- Mercer moved ahead 1-0 at 21:16 on Anna Bachman's goal, and Ruffalo followed with saves on Ashley Gilbert and Bachman to keep the margin there.
- Monssi Avila-Gutierrez recorded the Eagles' shot in the 29th minute, while Mercer continued to press late with five shots and a corner from 33:11 to 42:39.
