DAVIDSON, N.C. -- The Winthrop University volleyball team fell to Wofford in straight sets, 3-0, on Saturday at John M. Belk Arena.
Paige Bennett led the Eagles with 13 kills, while
Cami Roberts contributed 32 assists and
Maggie Czajka posted a .778 hitting percentage on seven kills.

• Wofford responded with a 6-0 run, led by Natalie Arnold and Chloe Smith, to take an 8-4 advantage. Â
• Bennett and
Reece Rhoads closed the gap to 23-21, but Wofford sealed the set with a kill from Charlotte Bell, 25-22.

• Wofford capitalized on errors and Chloe Smith's scoring to turn the tide, winning the set 25-20.

• Wofford took an early lead with a 7-2 run, helped by Winthrop's attack errors. Â
• Chloe Smith added a service ace and two kills for Wofford. Â
• Despite kills from
Laila Glover and
Maggie Czajka, Wofford maintained control and Avery White's kill secured the set, 25-14.
