ROCK HILL, S.C. -- The Winthrop University baseball team returned for game two against Charleston Southern and clinched the series by a score of 14-4.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Josh Skowronski got the bats going in the first with his double to right field
- Cade Norton sent one to the back wall to pick up his second triple of the season
- Colin Crowley's groundout batted in Norton to put the Eagles on the board first
- Charleston Southern got on the board in the fourth thanks to a John Emendorfer RBI-single
- Chazz Grossington sent one behind the left field, bringing home Crowley with him
- Gabe Natividad soloed to left to give him his second homerun in 2026
- Grant McGuire took part of the action and brought home Corey Wouters with an RBI-single
- The Buccaneers picked up three more in the sixth
- Grossington went yard for the second time on the afternoon and brought Crowley home to extend the lead
- Natividad kept his momentum rolling by batting in Norton and Crowley
- Josh Skowronski picked up his 18th RBI on the year in the eighth inning bringing home Natividad
- A CSU error allowed Skowronski and Alan Benhardt to score to add to the Eagles total
- Jaylen Hernandez picked up homerun No. 9 on the season and brought home McGuire
