th.

- The Eagles moved up three spots on the leaderboard after combining for 7-over in the final round
- The eight stroke improvement from the second round pushed the Eagles into a 7th place finish
- Junior Constanca Mendonca over came a double bogey on her first hole of the day to finish 2-under, jumping up the leaderboard into a T7 finish
- Freshman Alayna Friedt had four birdies in her round and finished at even par to finish T33
- Senior Maelle Dreyer also had four birdies in her round as she shot 2-over (T44)
- Dreyer's 54-hole total was one shot off her collegiate low of 224 set at the Lone Star Women's Championships Apr. 24-25, 2023 while competing for Cameron University
- Winthrop finished with the 4th best Par 3 scoring (+13)
- Mendonca led the entire field in Par 3 scoring at 3-under and led the team in Par 4 scoring (+4)
- Friedt led the Eagles in Par 5 scoring (-2)
- In back-to-back tournaments, the Eagles have posted two of the Top 5 lowest team scores for a tournament in program history (4th and 5th lowest)
- It was just the 5th time in program history a team posed a team score under 900 (+36)
- The final round of 7-over is tied for the 6th lowest team round in program history
- This on the day the course played the toughest according to stroke average for the field

Winthrop has nearly a month before it's back to competing as it will head to Spartanburg, S.C. Oct. 13-14 for the Terrier Intercollegiate.
