Addison Torain's serve, and never looked back, sweeping North Florida at the Furman Invite behind Jolley's 14 kills and McCollum's 28 assists.

Set 1
- Winthrop held the Ospreys to hit just 0.091 in the first set
- Both squads went back and forth to open the set, but Winthrop jumped out to a 9-6 lead forcing a North Florida timeout
- Winthrop pulled out ahead after the score was tied at 10-10, seeing the score reside at 19-12 for the Eagles
- Eagles took the set, 25-19, after smacking twelve kills in the set
Set 2
- Winthrop and North Florida battled in the second set, with both squads showing their best hitting performance on the day, 0.52 and 0.419, respectively
- Winthrop had a hold on the Eagles early in the second set, 10-6, but the Ospreys charged back to take the lead 16-14.
- The contest sat tied 22-all, seeing the Eagles take the last three of four points out of a timeout to capture the set.
- Avery Jolley cashed in on 6 kills in 9 attempts during the second stanza
Set 3
- Winthrop took the wind out the Ospreys' sails after clutching up in the second set, opening the third set with a dominant 9-0 run to open the final set.
- Addison Torain had two service aces during the opening 9-0 run
- Paige Bennett registered 4 kills and 5 digs in the third set, contributing both in front row and back row
- It was all Winthrop in the final set, taking it 25-14 for the Eagles first 3-0 sweep of the 2025 campaign
