ROCK HILL, S.C. -- Winthrop University men's and women's cross country teams are slated to compete at the Pfeiffer University Invite hosted on the campus of Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, N.C. Friday evening.
"I'm really excited to see how both our men's and women's teams build off the strong start we had at the Eye Opener in Spartanburg. Training has been going really well, and you can see the athletes starting to fully buy into what our distance coach, Aidan Fiol, has been emphasizing. Each race is another opportunity for us to execute our strategy, compete with confidence, and take another step forward as a team," said Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach, Raffael Craig.
