- About 18-20 minutes in the Eagles offense started to generate scoring opportunities
- Mia Silber had a free look from about 25 yards out and struck it well but the shot was right at the keeper
- The Eagles offense had three shots in a span of 40 seconds
- Winthrop continued to push to find the back of the net but was unable to before the break
- Amalie Steen had a couple of near misses to the bottom right corner in the final five minutes and Cordelia McIntosh just missed wide right from the top of the box as the game was scoreless at the break
- Eagles continued to pressure the Warriors, creating a number of chances but unable to get the ball past keeper Katelyn O'Neil until the 80th minute
- Ally Bender won the ball, dribbled toward the middle and then passed to Monssi Avila-Gutierrez who took a touch and then placed a shot from the edge of the box into the left corner of the goal
