Charlottesville, Va. – A trio of Eagles competed at the Virginia High Performance on Sunday evening. A premier distance destination meet, the Eagles were joined by host school Virginia alongside Hampton, Liberty, North Carolina A&T, Radford, Rochester, and Virginia Tech.

- Freshman Anna Conrad placed 10th in the 1500m run with a time of 4:54.22
- Sophomore Kayah Marques placed 8th in the 800m run with a personal best time of 2:20.24
- Sophomore Chadwick Sisson placed 12th in the 800m run with a final time of 1:57.26

Winthrop ends the regular-season next Sunday as they compete in the Duke Twilight on the campus of Duke University in Durham, N.C. This will be Winthrop's second and final trip to Duke this season. This will serve as a tune-up before the Big South Outdoor Track & Field Championships at UNC Asheville from May 12-15.
