Game Recap
- Panthers had a free look in the second minute as Daniel Lugo dribbled to his right and fired a shot from just outside the area straight on from goal but it was turned away by Jack Kilstrom
- High Point struck in the 12th minute as Brendan Krueger dribbled into the box and played a pass forward to Daniel Lugo who placed a shot past Jack Kilstrom into the far corner for the early lead
- Eagles threatened to equalize in the 15th minute as Takumi Sato dribbled free down the middle of the field and fired a shot that was saved by Josh Caron as the rebound came out in front of goal
- Jayco Castro was crashing the net but was just beat to the ball by a High Point defender who's tackle cleared it over the line for a corner
- In the 16th minute, Diomario Adamson collected a cross at the corner of the six as he turned with a clean look at goal but fired the shot high of the frame
- In the 30th minute the Panthers doubled their lead as Celestin Blondel found Lugo with a pass in the box as the first touch popped in the air and Lugo cracked a volley into the top right corner
- Panthers tried to add to their lead in the 51st minute as Chris Niblock was sent free into space and as he entered the area he tried to beat Kilstrom with a shot but was denied
- High Point kept possession and seconds later Niblock had the ball in the box again as he fired a low shot that was tipped wide by Kilstrom
- Panthers did add a third goal in the 52nd minute as Alfred Baafi collected a long corner kick and quickly played a ball over the top of the defensive line as several Panthers were open in front of goal and Krueger tapped it in at the back post
- High Point struck again in the 55th minute as Niblock took a shot that was blocked by a defender right in front of him, the ball sailed high into the air to the far post as Lukas Kamrath was standing wide open and struck a shot first time into the far corner
- Winthrop came close in the 71st minute as Adamson's corner to the near post as Dragen Vrataric got up and won a header at the six but was just wide right of the frame

- Winthrop's season comes to an end as it finishes a point from qualifying for the Big South Tournament
- Jack Kilstrom finished the game with eight saves
