Game Recap
- After a scoreless first half, the Bulldogs struck in the 55th minute to take the lead
- Kendall Powell scored off the rebound of her own shot which was initially saved by Mia Vrataric
- The goal came minutes after Monssi Avila-Gutierrez just missed the corner of the goal on a shot from outside the box
- In the 58th minute Reagan Goodwyn put a ball in the box that was headed up by Cordelia McIntosh
- Avila-Gutierrez struck the ball first time on frame as it came down
- Gracie Murray made the save and collected the rebound just before McIntosh arrived as she followed the shot
- Eagles nearly equalized in the 60th minute as Mia Silber slipped a pass through the defense as Sophia Balliet ran on but her shot just missed the left side of the frame
- Bulldogs took a two goal lead in the 67th minute off a corner kick as Akari Kishida's corner service found its way into the net
- Just minutes later Amelie Steen ripped a shot that was saved and Lindsay Sheets followed and scored but was called for offside
- Steen had another chance in the 88th minute but Murray made the diving save

- Shots were even at 13-13 as the Eagles had 6-5 edge in shots on goal
- Lauren Kelly made her 50th appearance as an Eagle
Looking Ahead
The Eagles have 10 days between games as they're not back in action until Wednesday, Oct. 15 when they travel to Farmville, Va. to take on Longwood at 6 p.m.
