ROCK HILL, S.C. -- The Winthrop University men's and women's cross country teams concluded the regular season at the USC Upstate Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 18 in Spartanburg, S.C.
Anna Conrad led the charge for the women besting a personal best of 18:28 over the five kilometer distance. Followed close behind was teammate
Kayah Marques setting a personal best of 18:35.
Olivia Kemp,
Ella Collins, and
Kelsey Martin rounded out the scoring helping secure an 8th place team finish. On the men's side,
Jason Krell took command for the Eagles once again crossing the line in 26:23 over the eight kilometer distance, setting a new season's best. Teammates
Griffin McNeish and
Miles Carrier followed in second and third for the Eagles, both dipping under 27 minutes.
Mitchell Hill and
Aiden Carrier rounded out the scoring on the men's side helping take home a 12th place team finish.
