Rock Hill, S.C. – The Winthrop Athletic Department, Hoppin' Rock Hill and Coroplast Tape have teamed up again for 2025-26 to bring you the 2025-26 Winthrop Sports Show.
The Winthrop Sports Show Presented By Coroplast Tape will be held at Hoppin' Rock Hill, with the first show happening on Monday, Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. It will be a special "Homecoming" edition. The remainder of the shows will be on Mondays at 6 p.m. and will air live on 94.3 FM (WRHI). For the first show, there will be a meet and greet with the Winthrop men's and women's basketball teams following the show. Fans will get a chance to meet and mingle with players and coaches from both teams.
The show will be hosted by Mike Pacheco featuring head men's basketball coach
Mark Prosser and head women's basketball coach Sameka Randall Lay as well as other sports personalities, members of the administration or special guests.
Hoppin' Rock Hill is located at
110 Southern Street and offers free parking along with FreshPress Food Truck on site 7 days a week. On Monday's, happy hour runs from 4-7 p.m., there is 25% off all draught beer and wine, 50% off draught cocktails and food is available from FreshPress Rock Hill and The Roasting Company.
For the first show on Oct. 27, Hoppin' will have 25% off all 64 draught lines and debut a new Winthrop inspired cocktail for the Winthrop Sports Show and watch parties.
On Homecoming weekend, Nov. 14-16 the Homecoming special will be select draughts at a discount featuring the Winthrop Eagle. Saturday, Nov. 15 there will be a ticketed dueling pianos show at 8 p.m. Tickets can be found on Hoppin's social media starting three weeks before the show, and additional tickets may be sold at the door (weather permitting). All guests wearing Winthrop gear will receive a $5 tap credit.
Hoppin' offers weekly promos with a 25% discount after 7 p.m. with valid student ID for College Night (Thursdays) and 10% off with a school ID badge all day, including happy hour (4-7 p.m.) for Education Night (Fridays).
