SERIES HISTORY VERSUS QUEENS
Despite being separated by about 23 miles, this is the first ever regular season meeting between Winthrop and Queens. The Eagles are 7-14-2 all-time against opponents from the Atlantic Sun Conference

- Have won back-to-back games while posting a shutout in each victory
- It is the first time since the 2019 season that the Eagles recorded consecutive shutouts
- That season the Eagles recorded back-to-back shutouts twice
- Eagles haven't posted three consecutive shutouts since the 2013 season
- Junior goalkeeper Mia Vrataric has made six saves combined in the two shutouts

- Monssi Avila Gutierrez was third on the team in scoring (4g, 1a) in just seven games (six starts) followed by Abbie McCrea with eight points (4g)
- The Eagles have eight newcomers, seven of them freshmen and the other is current lacrosse player Tori Iannotti who joined the team in the spring and will compete in both sports
- Eagles are in their 22nd season overall and this will mark the 380th game in program history
- The Eagles are 152-186-42 all-time
- Spencer Smith is in his 15th season as head coach and coached in his 200th game for the Eagles on Sept. 25, 2021 vs. USC Upstate
- Smith is tied for 4th all-time in Big South history for victories and one win shy of 100 at the helm of the Eagles
- It is Smith's 36th season overall as he posted a career record of 269-305-53
- He is 99-115-25 with Winthrop soccer and posted a 172-90-28 mark coaching collegiate men's soccer
- Smith earned 137 of those wins at Radford, where he was two-time Big South Coach of the Year and led the Highlanders to two NCAA College Cup appearances
- The 137 wins at Radford rank 5th all-time in Big South history
