- Senior Nick Mayfield finished tied for first and lost on the fourth playoff hole against High Point's Fred Roberts IV for medalist honors
- Mayfield is the first Eagle to finish first since Kyle Christman in 2002
- Mayfield posted a final round of 8-under (63) to finish the 54-hole event at 9-under (204)
- The 8-under round ties the program record and is the lowest by an Eagle in Big South Championship competition
- Damon Postal held the record by himself with a 63 (8-under) at the 2011 Maryland Intercollegiate
- The 54-hole total of 204 is the lowest by an Eagle in the Big South Championship, topping Zach Seabolt's 209 he posted in 2015 and 2016
- It was also just two shots shy of the program record overall of 202 set by Kelly Manders at the Mizuno Southbridge Intercollegiate during the 2007-08 season
- It was also a career-best 54-hole total for Mayfield
- Mayfield finished 9-under for the championship, tying Chris Winchip for the lowest 54-hole score by an Eagle
- Freshman Logan Lutz finished 10th, posting a career-best 54-hole score of 211
- The 211 by Lutz is tied for the third lowest by an Eagle in the conference championship
- Senior Austin Mosher had his best finish in the championship, finishing 17th as he was 1-over (214)
- As a team the Eagles finished 2nd overall for the second straight year and 6th time in program history
- The Eagles posted an 839 (-13), which crushes the previous program record (861 set in 2015) during championship play
- The team's final round 277 was the lowest one day total in championship play, which was previously 280 set in 2017 and in Friday's second round
- The Eagles have advanced to the Match Play portion of the championship for the 4th time in the last five championships
