- Junior Ida Hasnen posted the team's second-lowest score of the day with a 2-over 73 and moved up 25 spots on the leaderboard
- Emily Baker had the third lowest round for the Eagles on Tuesday, moving up 11 spots
- The Eagles as a team were 17 shots better from Monday's opening round

Winthrop is back on the course Wednesday morning for the final round as there will be an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Winthrop will tee off on holes 11-14 and will be paired with Akron, Georgetown and Tennessee Tech.
