Rock Hill, S.C. – Winthrop volleyball snagged a conference weekly award as
Isabella Murray was tabbed the Big South Conference Setter of the Week for matches played Sep. 30-Oct. 6, announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Murray led the Eagles to the second highest team hitting percentage in conference play thus far (.325) in a 3-0 sweep of USC Upstate at home last Saturday. Murray had the most assists in a 3 set match by a setter so far this conference season, and is also leading the conference in assists/set by a large margin, with the next closest 3.5 assists/set away.
This is the second time this season an Eagle has taken home a weekly award, both by Murray.
