The first championship came in 2002 as the Eagles knocked off 13th-ranked Coastal Carolina 2-1 in overtime. The Eagles went on to win conference championships in 2006, 2008, 2009, and 2015. The Eagles have appeared in the NCAA College Cup in 2002, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2012 and 2015. The team advanced to the Round of 32 in 2012 after getting past SMU in a penalty shootout.
