Ashton Eubanks was named the Big South Men's Golfer of the Week while
Thomas Lamar was named the Big South Freshman Men's Golfer of the Week, the league office announced Thursday afternoon.
Eubanks had a T1 finish at The Johnson Group Carolina Cup earlier this week as he finished the 54-hole event at 1-under. He opened the event with an even par 72, posted a 73 in the second round and closed out with a 2-under 70 in the final round. His 54-hole total of 215 tied his collegiate-best, which he previously achieved at the 2024 Big South Conference Championship.
Lamar tied for 13
th at The Johnson Group Carolina Cup as he was 7-over for the 54-hole event. His 54-hole total of 223 was his best in two collegiate starts. Posted his lowest round in Tuesday's Final Round with a 1-over 73, including an eagle on the Par 5 18
th hole.
