Game Recap
  • The Eagles jumped out to an early lead with a goal in the seventh minute
  • Rodrigo Ferreira connected with his brother Ricardo Ferreira for the goal as Ricard placed a shot into the bottom right corner
  • Despite being down to 10 men, the Eagles doubled their lead in the 28th minute when Rodrigo Ferreira set up Bryan Marshall, who placed a shot into the right corner
  • Nick Guido put the Eagles up 3-0 in the 56th minute with his first goal of the season
  • The Runnin' Bulldogs did break through in the 62nd minute as Jaylen Orr scored to cut the Winthrop lead to two goals
  • It became a one goal game in the 65th minute when Caio Hughes found the back of the net, beating Jack Kilstrom low to the corner
  • Eagles came right back in the 68th minute to regain a two goal lead as Grayson Woodard set up Ricardo Ferreira for his second of the match
  • Hughes scored his second of the match in the 79th minute to make it a one goal game again
