FARMVILLE, Va. –Despite losing in walk-off fashion at Longwood in the second of a three-game series with the Lancers by a final score of 2-1, the Eagles clinched a spot in next week's conference tournament thanks to UNC Asheville's come-from-behind 7-6, 10-inning victory at High Point. The Eagles drop to 26-26 overall and 14-12 in the Big South but will go to the Big South Tournament for the first time since 2019.
