- A strong finish by the Eagles in the second round sparked a late run to sit tied for 11th and better the first round score by one stroke
- Nick Mayfield opened up with a 2-under 69 and shot a 73 in the afternoon to sit T23 and 1-over par
- Ian Faulconer was also under par in the opening round with a 70 as he posted a 74 in the afternoon and is sitting T40
- Matthew Hutto opened the day with a 78 and finished the day strong with a 2-under 69
- Hutto started on the 8th hole and in the second round came to the first tee at 2-over as he proceeded to birdie three straight holes and four of his final seven to post a 4-under 31 on the front nine
- Willis Rogers also birdied two of his final five holes to post a two-over 73 in the second round
- Hutto and Mayfield led the Eagles in Par 3 scoring at even par
- Mayfield led in Par 4 scoring at 3-over while he and Faulconer tied for the team-low in Par 5 scoring (-3)

Eagles are back on the course in the morning for the final round of the Wofford Invitational. The third round is at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start as the Eagles will tee off between holes 10-12 and are paired with Queens and Wofford (B).
