ROCK HILL, S.C. – After falling 21-4 to Furman on the road, Winthrop lacrosse returns home to start a stretch in which the Eagles will play three of their final five regular-season games. Winthrop will first play host to Presbyterian on Wednesday night at 6 p.m.

SCOUTING PRESBYTERIAN
Presbyterian is currently 5-6 and 2-1 in the Big South, having defeated Delaware, Akron, Kent State and in Big South play defeated Wofford and Radford while falling to Campbell last Wednesday 16-4. PC is led by Eric Clakeley, who is in his fourth year with the program. The Blue Hose was picked to finish last in the 2023 Big South Women's Lacrosse Preseason Coaches Poll with 14 of the 100 possible points. PC finished the 2022 campaign with a 2-15 overall record and winless in the Big South at 0-9.
ALL-TIME AGAINST PRESBYTERIAN
Winthrop has never lost to the Blue Hose, going 12-0. The first meeting between the Eagles and PC was on Apr. 1, 2013 with Winthrop notching a 21-12 win in Clinton. The last outing between the two teams was a 9-7 victory on the road on Apr. 13, 2022.
