WINTHROP AT A GLANCE
Winthrop is coming off a 4-14 (3-6 Big South) record in 2022. The Eagles welcome 16 newcomers to the squad and assistant coach

Grayson McKenzie.
Angelo and Dankowski return as Winthrop's top-three offensive pieces, as Angelo is the Eagles' leading returning goal scorer with 47 goals during her junior year, and Dankowski led the 2022 squad in shots with 58 attempts in 18 games played.
McKenzie played in 16 games last season, registering 10 goals and two assists on 24 shots on goal while Diebert played in 18 games, tacking an assist and 13 groundballs.
The Eagles were ranked fifth in the Big South preseason poll and are in their second season under head coach
Kara Concheck.
SCOUTING CLEMSON
In their first year as a program, the Tigers are 2-0 after defeating Wofford and Furman by a combined score of 42-4. Of 28 players, 20 are transfers and eight are freshman. Clemson is coached by Allison Kwolak.
ALL-TIME AGAINST CLEMSON
This is the first meeting between the Eagles and Tigers.
