Rock Hill, S.C. – Coming off a 62-55 home win over St. Augustine's after trailing by 13 early in the second half, Winthrop women's basketball (3-2, 0-0 Big South) travels to California for the California Berkeley Tournament on the campus of the University of California at Berkeley this weekend. The Eagles will face Texas A&M on Friday afternoon.

SERIES HISTORY VERSUS TEXAS A&M
This is the first meeting between the Eagles and the Aggies. Texas A&M went 9-20 (2-14 SEC) in 2022-23.

- Winthrop defeated St. Augustine's at home on Education Day, coming back from a 13-point second half deficit to win 62-55.
- Marissa Gasaway had her first double figure game in points as an Eagle, which was also a career-high.
