Eubanks, Tucker Highlight Day One Of Bryan National Collegiate For Eagles

Browns Summit, N.C. — Winthrop men's golf completed 27 holes on day one of the Bryan National Collegiate as the teams will get back on the course for 27 more on Monday. Eagles are sitting 9th and sitting two shots from the Top 5.

  • Mason Tucker led the Eagles in the first round with a 74 followed by Nick Mayfield a stroke behind at 75
  • Logan Lutz was two shots behind Tucker as the team was 11th
  • The round of the day belonged to freshman Ashton Eubanks playing as an individual as he posted a first round 71 (-1) and leads the team in Par 4 scoring at 2-under (T3 among the field)
