Rock Hill, S.C— Just one week after opening the fall season the Winthrop men's golf team is back on the course, but this time much closer to home as it heads up I-77 for the River Run Collegiate hosted by Davidson College.

A GLANCE AT THE EAGLES

• There are programs represented from seven states as well as the District of Columbia
• Winthrop is 1-of-4 Big South programs competing in the field
• Winthrop will begin teeing off between holes 11-14 and will be playing with Appalachian State, William & Mary and Presbyterian College
• Eagles opened the season at the Allstate Streamsong Inv. as the team finished 12^th
• Nick Mayfield led the Eagles with a T19 finish as he was 8-under
• Charles Collings was the next best finish on the team at 62^nd (+4)
