- Nick Mayfield posted the team's low score of the opening round with a 4-under 68
- Mayfield's four under round was T12 after 18 holes
- Charles Collings was also under par in the first round as he posted a 71
- Collings eagled the Par 5 2nd hole
- Austin Mosher had the third best round at 1-over (73)
- Mayfield led the Eagles with seven birdies in the first round while Mosher was next with five
