Ninety Six, S.C.— After the opening day of the 2022 Big South Conference Championship the Winthrop women's golf team was led by sophomore Valentine Savioz sitting tied for 30^th.

Eagles were led by sophomore Valentine Savioz in the first round as she's T30 after a 79
Senior Sarah Funderburg and junior Makenna Brindley each shot 81 and are T41
Funderburg, Regan Clifford and Emilie Marie Marceliussen-Dahl all led the Eagles in Par 3 scoring at 1-over
Brindley and Savioz led the Eagles in Par 4 scoring at 4-over
Funderburg posted the best Par 5 scoring at even par followed by Savioz at 1-over
