Mill Spring, N.C.— Freshman Emilie Marie Maceliussen-Dahl finished tied for 1^st at the Bright's Creek Invitational which finished up Sunday morning while the team finished 4^th.

The third round of the event was canceled due to poor weather conditions
Marceliussen-Dahl fired the round of the second round with a 2-under 70
The 70 is a collegiate-low for Marceliussen-Dahl and the lowest round by an Eagle this season
Sarah Funderburg finished T13 and Makenna Brindley was 17^th
Marceliussen-Dahl led the field in Par 5 scoring at 3-under and tied for total birdies with seven
She also led the team in Par 4 scoring (+3)
Brindley led the field in Par 3 scoring at 2-under and led the team with 23 total pars
