Game Recap
- The Blue Hose took a 1-0 lead in the 7th minute as Gerard Lopez slipped a pass behind the Eagles defense and Nile Nguidjol ran on and from an angle to Sam Jones' right he laced a shot past Jones
- In the 16th minute, the Eagles had their first threat on frame as Jayden Mace's shot inside the box to the lower left corner was saved by a diving Leo Stritter
- PC took advantage of a fortunate situation in the 24th minute to double is lead as Winthrop's last defender facing the ball slipped as he stepped toward it and Nacho Gallego ran on as he had a 1v1 with Jones and finished into the bottom corner
- Ben Goodman put a shot on frame in the 48th minute as his shot to the lower left corner was saved
- Eagles forced another save by Stritter in the 77th minute as Kade McKenzie fired a shot straight at Stritter
Notables
- PC had a 14-10 edge in shots while shots on goal were even at five each
- Stritter finished with five saves while Jones finished with three
- Winthrop had a 6-2 advantage in corners
