Spartanburg, S.C. —Winthrop men's golf completed the second round of the Carolina Cup Monday afternoon led by Nick Mayfield's round of even par.

Nick Mayfield bounced back with an even par 72 in the second round to post the low round on the team for the day
Mayfield jumped 19 spots and is T49 heading into the final round
Ian Faulconer birdied his final hole to tie his collegiate-low with a 74
Willis Rogers shot 2-under in the back nine to post a 75
Matthew Hutto also posted a 75 and he and Rogers are sitting T55
The Eagles improved by 16 strokes from the first round to the second and moved two spots up the leaderboard
Hutto continued to lead the Eagles in Par 3 scoring at even par
