Battle At Briars Creek Canceled Due To Inclement Weather

Johns Island, S.C. – The Battle At Briars Creek has been canceled due to inclement weather as rain continued overnight and into the morning to force a washout.

Winthrop won't have to sit around long before its next event as it heads to Birmingham, Ala. for the Graeme McDowell Intercollegiate Sept. 27-28. The Eagles were scheduled to play in the event in 2020 when it was canceled and competed in the tournament in 2019.
