SEASON OPENERS/CHARLESTON SOUTHERN SERIES HISTORY
This marks the 20
th meeting all-time as the series is tied 7-7-5. Winthrop earned a 4-1 win over the Bucs in Charleston last season. Winthrop is 4-3-1 all-time vs. the Bucs at home.
GLANCE AT THE EAGLES
Eagles opened up the season with a 3-0 loss at home to High Point, but bounced back with a 3-1 road win at USC Upstate on Mar. 7. Winthrop has now scored three or more goals in three of its last five road games. The Eagles had three different goals scorers in the win over Upstate.
Bryn Radvanski netted her first collegiate goal and for her effort was named the Big South Conference Freshman of the Week.
