Game Recap
- Pol Monells opened the scoring in the 27th minute as Upstate was applying pressure offensively and it finally paid off when a shot from Monells took a fortunate bounce off a Winthrop defender and into the goal
- Mario Arrocha made it 2-0 in the 36th minute when he got the ball inside the 18, cut back to his right foot and placed a shot into the far corner past Sam Jones
- Bryant Jimenez Pearce got the Eagles back within a goal as he finished off a cross from Michael Smith in the 59th minute
- Jeremy Montero received a pass from Monells and finished from inside the box for a 3-1 lead in the 76th minute
- Spartans added another goal late when Pascal Corvino's shot went over the head of Jones, who was unable to tip the ball over the bar as it went into the net
- Upstate finished with 16-4 advantage in shots and 8-4 in corners
